Power generation plant consists of six of these sets.

Set part stripped for overhaul and survey.

Cylinder liners have been removed, honed, calibrated and refitted. Pistons have been back to the works

for cleaning, testing, calibration and re-ringing and have been re-installed. Turbocharger rotor is still at the

factory as are the cylinder heads. Cover is off the alternator for bearing renewal and cryogenic cleaning.

From top to bottom: Air inlet manifold, fuel injection pumps, cambox, crankcase. To try to give a sense of scale, I have to reach up above head height to undo the fuel injection pump covers.

This is where we completely go against what commercial outfits do. They tend to steer well clear of other vessels and would have kittens if they found themselves in this situation. We sail this close deliberately for fuel and stores transfer.
